I had a detached retina in January 2014 which Mr Carrim dealt with at extremely short notice and saved some of the sight in my eye . 12 months on and the cataracts which he told me I might get were also dealt with speedily and proficiently I have now been discharged and can see better long distance than I could a year ago All this with no pain and very little discomfort ,I would have no hesitation in recommending the hospital and the doctor to others in my position

I find Mr Carrim caring, considerate & reassuring, his treatment was second to none. We trust the doctor very much & found he listened to what we had to say. We would recommend Mr K carrim & all staff in the eye department for their fantastic treatment.

Thank you for the booklet you sent me which I received today the 17th of February i found it very informative and it has eased my mind about the injection we spoke about on my visit on the 9th of February and I will speak to you on my next appointment on the 23rd of March unless it would benefit me seeing you before that date . I was surprised to read that I had dry macular degeneration after an extensive eye test by Ms Bird on my first visit to the clinic told me I had wet macular degeneration. I assume the operation is out of the question with my breathing and heart problems which I have been informed numerous times I cannot have a general anaesthetic . Thank you again

Dr Carrim thank you so much for the informative booklet received today ,I have read it with much interest and now feel quite different about having the injection and I will see you at my next appointment with you on the 23rd of March to discuss it with you further ,unless you think I should have an earlier appointment . I was of the understanding when I first visited the clinic and saw the eye testing specialist Ms Bird she informed me that I had wet macular degeneration but I now know it's dry macular degeneration Thank You
